USA Adaptive Water Ski & Wake Sports has decided to postpone their National Championships and Team Trials scheduled for September of this year. The decision made by the board of directors was not easy; but, as an organization, they decided it best to put the health and safety of the athletes as their first priority.
While unfortunate, the organization is already working on their plans to host the tournament and team selection in late June or early July of 2021. This will allow those who are selected to ski for Team USA at the 2022 World Championships in Australia ample time to train and fundraise.
The tournament will be hosted by the Kentucky Lake Ski Nuts at Twin Oaks Lakes in Paducah, Kentucky, the same place it was to be held in September. USA Adaptive Water Ski & Wake Sports is appreciative of the continued support from the Barbara Bolding/Jim Grew Fund, the Kentucky Lake Ski Nuts, and Twin Oaks Lakes.
