Step 1

Become a USA Water Ski & Wake Sports Member

For safety and insurance purposes, anyone who skis at a tournament or participates in a learn to ski event or clinic must be a member of USA Water Ski and Wake Sports.

There are many options in membership types ranging from an event membership to a yearly membership.

CLassification

Step 2

Skiers who have never been classified, or who have not been classified at two consecutive competitions will need to be classified at the National Tournament.

Step 3

Qualifying for competition

Local and Regional Tournaments

There are no ability requirements for local and regional tournaments.The only requirement is to get on the water and have fun!

National Tournament

To qualify to compete the National Championships, you must be able to complete the following: 

- 100 points in tricks

- 1 full mini course pass at 19 mph

- Land a jump

​

If you qualify in tricks, you automatically also qualify for slalom and vice versa. You must qualify for jump separately

We're already looking forward to all the events that organizations all across the country will be hosting in 2023. 

​

Please keep an eye on our CALENDAR OF EVENTS as that is where all events for the 2023 season will be posted.
